Privacy Policy

Effective: July 21, 2026
Version 1.0
Indexed on purpose

This Privacy Policy explains how Media Stack, LLC ("Media Stack," "we," "us"), a Alaska limited liability company with its principal place of business in Alaska, collects, uses, and shares information through media-stack.net, our intake forms, our sales outreach, and our content services. We wrote it to be read. It is published, indexed, and linked from every page of our site, on purpose.

In plain terms

No hidden pages and no buried surprises. This is the whole deal.

01Information We Collect

Information you give us

  1. Business contact details you submit through our application and intake forms or provide on calls: name, business name, role, email, phone, platform handles, and information about your business and goals.
  2. Client materials, if you become a client: brand assets, business facts for scripting, and video footage, photographs, and voice recordings of your designated on camera principal, because our service is putting you on camera.
  3. Payment information, processed by our payment providers. We do not store full card or bank account numbers on our systems.

Information collected automatically

  1. Standard site data: device and browser information, pages viewed, and cookies. Our site uses analytics tools and advertising pixels, including the Meta pixel, that set cookies to measure and improve our marketing.

Information from platforms

  1. Performance data such as views, reach, and engagement for content we publish for clients, as reported by TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, and Facebook.
In plain terms

We collect what you hand us, what the website measures, and what the platforms report about published content. That is the list.

02How We Use Information

  1. To evaluate applications, respond to inquiries, and deliver the services in our client agreements.
  2. To create client content, including AI assisted drafting of scripts and content plans from the business information clients provide. A human reviews AI assisted output before it is used.
  3. To operate, measure, and improve our marketing, including advertising on third party platforms.
  4. To contact business prospects and existing business contacts about our services, with opt out honored promptly under Section 04.
  5. To comply with law, enforce agreements, and protect our rights and the rights of others.
In plain terms

We use your information to run the service and to market the service. We tell you that AI helps write scripts, because it does.

03How We Share Information

  1. Service providers who help us operate: hosting, form and e signature tools, payment processors, analytics and advertising platforms, and communications systems. Each is limited to what its function requires.
  2. Our production contractors and editors, under confidentiality obligations, to fulfill client work.
  3. Professional advisors, and authorities when required by law or lawful process.
  4. A successor entity in a merger, acquisition, or sale of assets, subject to this Policy.

What we do not do: we do not sell personal information, and we do not rent or trade our contact lists to third parties for their own marketing.

In plain terms

Vendors who run the machine see what they need to see. Nobody buys your information from us, because it is not for sale.

04Marketing Communications and Your Opt Out

We market to businesses. If you have inquired about, applied for, or purchased our services, or maintain an existing business relationship with our principals, we may contact you by phone, text, or email about Media Stack services. Calls with our team may be monitored or recorded for quality, training, and record keeping. Where the law requires it, you will hear that disclosure at the start of the call. Every text and email includes an opt out mechanism, and verbal opt outs on calls are honored the same day. We maintain an internal do not contact list, honor it, and scrub against applicable do not call registries. We do not use autodialed or prerecorded calls or texts to mobile numbers without the prior express consent the law requires.

In plain terms

Say "stop" once, on any channel, and we stop. And yes, sales calls may be recorded. You will hear it when they are.

05Client Content, Likeness, and Portfolio Use

Footage, recordings, and likenesses captured for client programs are handled under the signed client agreement, and finished content belongs to the client. We use client names, content, or results in our own marketing only with signed, revocable permission under our Publicity and Portfolio License. Never by default.

In plain terms

Your face and your results are yours. We ask before we ever point at them.

06Cookies and Advertising Pixels

Our site uses functional cookies, analytics cookies, and advertising pixels, including Meta's, that may track visits across sites for ad measurement and retargeting. You can control cookies through your browser settings and limit ad personalization through your platform ad settings. The site functions with cookies disabled, though some features may degrade.

In plain terms

Yes, if you visit our site, our ads may follow you on social platforms. Your browser and ad settings can turn that off.

07Your Choices and Rights

Regardless of where you live, you may ask us to: access the personal information we hold about you, correct it, delete it subject to legal retention needs, or stop marketing to you. Send requests to support@media-stack.net. We will verify and respond within 30 days. If your state's privacy law grants you additional rights, we honor them, and we will never penalize you for exercising any of these rights.

In plain terms

Ask what we have, fix it, or tell us to delete it. One email.

08Retention and Security

We keep information as long as needed for the purposes above, for our legal and accounting obligations, and to enforce agreements. After that, we delete or deidentify it. We use commercially reasonable safeguards appropriate to a business of our size. No system is perfectly secure, and we do not promise otherwise, anywhere, about anything.

In plain terms

We keep what the business needs, protect it reasonably, and will not pretend any system is unhackable.

09Not Directed to Minors

Our services and site are for businesses and adults 18 and over. We do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18. If we learn we have, we delete it.

10Changes to This Policy

We may update this Policy. Material changes will be posted with a new effective date at least 30 days before they take effect, and changes apply prospectively. The current version always lives, indexed and linked, at media-stack.net/privacy.

In plain terms

If the deal changes, the page changes first. Dated, in the open.
